Born in Lakeland, Florida, Ray Lewis starred as a linebacker for the University of Miami Hurricanes from 1993-1995, setting school records for tackles and earning All-Big East honors both years while being named team MVP in 1995. Drafted in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens, he played 17 NFL seasons, amassing franchise records in tackles, earning two Defensive Player of the Year awards, 12 Pro Bowl selections, and Super Bowl XXXV MVP honors leading the Ravens to victory.
