Nelson Peltz began his career taking over his family's produce business in New York, expanding it from $2 million to $150 million annually before merging it into larger food service operations. He partnered with Peter May to acquire and grow Triangle Industries into the world's largest packaging company, selling it for nearly $1 billion in 1988. In 2005, Peltz co-founded Trian Fund Management in New York, focusing on improving underperforming public companies through operational enhancements and board involvement. He maintains strong connections to Miami through speaking engagements at the University of Miami's Herbert Business School and friendships with local leaders like Steuart Miller. Currently, he serves as CEO and founding partner of Trian while residing in Palm Beach, Florida.
