Nat Moore champions cancer research in South Florida as a key advocate for the Dan Marino Foundation and the Dana Cancer Center Cycle for Survival, honoring his late friend Jim Mandich by supporting survivors and community fundraisers. He leads the CBS Miami Nat Moore Trophy, recognizing top high school football players across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties for talent, character, academics, and sportsmanship, providing national exposure to young athletes. His oversight of the Dolphins Alumni Association and NFL Super Bowl Football Clinic fosters community engagement and youth development in the region.

Born in Tallahassee and raised in Miami, Nat Moore attended Miami Edison Senior High School and Miami-Dade Community College before starring as a running back for the University of Florida Gators. Drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1974, he played 13 seasons as a wide receiver, setting nearly every Dolphins receiving record with 510 receptions, 7,547 yards, and 74 touchdowns, while earning Pro Bowl honors and the NFL Man of the Year award in 1984. Deeply connected to Miami through his upbringing and entire career with the Dolphins, Moore transitioned to broadcasting Florida Gators games and Dolphins preseason analysis. Today, he serves as Senior Vice President of Special Projects, Alumni Relations & Advisor to the CEO for the Miami Dolphins, overseeing alumni activities and special initiatives.
