Hausmann revitalized theater on Miami Beach's Lincoln Road Mall through Miami New Drama's multicultural and bilingual productions that reflect South Florida's diverse community. His company has become known for staging plays about Miami's unique stories, including productions about the Cocaine Cowboys and the Cuban Revolution, while championing BIPOC artists and providing voice to underrepresented communities. He also created innovative pandemic-era productions, including the award-winning 'Seven Deadly Sins: Temptation in the Magic City,' which was called the largest live professional theater production in the country during COVID-19.
