Laura founded Endeavor Miami in 2013, selecting and mentoring high-impact entrepreneurs, growing the portfolio to 23 companies and boosting South Florida's startup scene with access to mentors, capital, and networks. Her efforts positioned Miami as an entrepreneurial hub by fostering inclusion, innovation, and scaling resources for underrepresented founders. She continues mentoring early-stage companies and supporting female-led ventures in the region.

Originally from Mexico City, Laura graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from ITAM and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She began her career at Banc of America Equity Partners, gaining expertise in M&A and private equity, followed by leadership roles at Visa and Panamco in Latin America. As Founding Managing Director and CEO of Endeavor Miami, the first U.S. affiliate of the global nonprofit, she built a portfolio of 23 high-impact entrepreneurs generating over $250 million in revenue by 2019. After stepping down from Endeavor, she became Founder & General Partner at Ascendo Venture Capital. She now serves as an advisory board member for NovoPayment, Sustalytics, and three female-led tech startups, while co-presiding over the Harvard Business School Club of South Florida.
