Lane Monte Kiffin was born May 9, 1975, and is an American football coach with extensive experience across multiple programs including the Oakland Raiders (2007-2008), University of Tennessee (2009), USC (2010-2013), Florida Atlantic (2017-2019), and Ole Miss (2020-2025). He served as offensive coordinator at Alabama from 2014-2016 before his head coaching positions. Kiffin joined LSU in November 2025 after a competitive coaching carousel that also involved Florida's pursuit. At Ole Miss, he compiled a 55-19 record over six seasons, leading the program to its first-ever College Football Playoff appearance. He is the son of longtime NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and has three children from his previous marriage.
