Dr. Jose Navia graduated from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in 1984 and completed residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He has over 40 years of experience as a transplant surgery and thoracic surgery specialist, with expertise in cardiac surgical procedures and aortic aneurysms. In South Florida, he serves at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, previously associated with Baptist Health South Florida in Miami. He holds leadership roles including Chairman of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Center Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at Cleveland Clinic Weston. Dr. Navia maintains active medical licenses in Florida and Ohio, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
