Joe Zubizarreta built Zubi Advertising into one of the largest Hispanic agencies in the U.S., based in Coral Gables, serving major brands and strengthening multicultural marketing in South Florida. As SVP Communications for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, he reorganized and revitalized communications to boost local business visibility. His leadership as interim CEO of United Way Miami advanced equitable opportunities in education and finance, and his Goodwill South Florida board role supports employment for those with disabilities across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

Joe Zubizarreta (also known as Joe Zubi) graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Advertising in 1982 and began his career at Beber Silverstein and Partners as an entry-level Media Buyer, rising to Account Supervisor within five years. He joined the family-owned Zubi Advertising in 1990 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the Coral Gables-based agency for over 27 years until its acquisition by GTB/WPP, after which he served as interim leader until March 31st before transitioning to consulting. Deeply rooted in Miami since the agency's founding by his mother Tere Zubizarreta in 1976, he has managed major clients like Ford, JP Morgan Chase, and Dunkin’ Donuts. Following the sale, he served as SVP of Communications at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce to revitalize its operations. He also acted as interim President & CEO of United Way Miami, focusing on education and financial security. Currently, he contributes as a board member for Goodwill South Florida.
