Florida native Jeremy Ford began his career in kitchens under chefs like Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Dean Max, becoming executive chef at Matador Room in Miami Beach in 2014. He skyrocketed to fame by winning Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13, then partnered with Miami-based Grove Bay Hospitality Group to open Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach in 2017. The restaurant has earned a Michelin Star annually since 2022 and a Green Michelin Star in 2025, with Ford recognized as a 2022 James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef: South and Eater Miami’s 2018 Chef of the Year. Deeply tied to South Florida, he owns Ford’s Farm in Homestead, a working farm supplying his restaurants. Currently, he serves as chef and partner at Stubborn Seed locations in Miami and Las Vegas, alongside The Butcher’s Club in Palm Beach and Salt & Ash in the Florida Keys.
