Chisholm established the Jazz Chisholm Foundation in 2023, which supports young athletes in Miami, New York, and the Bahamas. During his time with the Marlins, he created a strong connection with the Miami community and became an integral part of the city's sports identity. Jasrado Prince Hermis Arrington, known as Jazz Chisholm Jr., was born February 1, 1998, in the Bahamas and is a professional baseball infielder and center fielder. He was traded to the Miami Marlins on July 31, 2019, and played for the team from 2020 to 2024, establishing himself as one of the franchise's notable personalities. During his Marlins tenure, he was named an All-Star as a second baseman and later transitioned to center field. In 2024, his final season with Miami, he batted .249 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs. He was subsequently traded to the New York Yankees and currently plays for the team. Beyond baseball, Chisholm serves as a mentor and role model to young athletes in the Caribbean.
