Born and raised in Miami to Cuban-American parents who fled Cuba in the 1960s, Felice Gorordo graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in government. He has served as a three-time CEO of venture-backed companies, including eMerge Americas where he organized major conferences attracting thousands and positioned Miami as a tech hub. Gorordo established partnerships with companies like LegalZoom and Univision, sold his firm to L1BRE, and acted as a diplomat as US Alternate Executive Director at the World Bank’s IBRD until recently. Deeply connected to Miami through family and lifelong residency, he now leads Embark, a purpose-driven management and finance consulting firm. He invests with firms like I Squared Capital and serves on boards including Baptist Health South Florida Foundation and Raices de Esperanza.
