Born and raised in Queens, New York, Chris Adamo built his career starting with corporate roles at CVS, New York Life, and eight years at 1800Flowers.com, where he helped grow the business from $500 million to $1 billion. In 2015, he caught the startup bug, co-founded media-tech ventures like WhereBy.Us and Letterhead, and became a founding partner of Flamingo Capital, a Miami venture capital syndicate focused on web3. He relocated to Miami after 31 years in New York with his wife Randi Wolfson and sons Rhyder and Booker, quickly establishing deep roots in the local tech and nonprofit scenes. Recognized by the New York Times as the 'Pied Piper' of the Miami Tech community, he co-founded the MiamiTech Happy Hour and Social Venture Partners Miami. Adamo holds an MBA and BS from Binghamton University and serves as a mentor at institutions like Miami Dade College and advisor to numerous startups.
