He built a career in government affairs and lobbying, serving as President Trump’s primary lobbyist in Miami from 2011 to 2017, handling matters for Trump National Doral, Miss Universe, and the PGA Doral Golf Tournament on behalf of the Trump Organization. His professional highlights include representing developers for the tallest building approved in Miami, securing approvals for high-density mixed-use projects, luxury resort helipads, cell towers, sports events, and procurement contracts across South Florida. Deeply connected to Miami through his father's legacy as Fire Chief, City Manager, and Miami-Dade Mayor, Carlos maintains strong ties to Congress and the Florida Legislative Delegation.
