Born in Miami into a family legacy in real estate, with his grandfather Harry Mufson as a pioneering hotelier who built the Eden Roc next to the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Brett grew up in Aspen, Colorado, after moving there at age 10. A University of Pennsylvania graduate, he gained extensive experience in New York, leading over $7 billion in transactions as Head of Acquisitions and Capital Markets at Witkoff before joining Fontainebleau Development in 2020. His Miami roots run deep, having known chairman Jeffrey Soffer for 20 years prior, and he relocated his family back to South Florida just before the pandemic. Today, as President and Partner, he oversees strategic direction, new developments, acquisitions, and financing for the firm's global portfolio including iconic assets like Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
