Over two decades of expertise drive Helen D. Robinson's work at GEI Consultants, where she engineers micropiles, soil nails, tiebacks, retaining walls, and ground improvement for demanding national projects. A Penn State alum with B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering, she co-authored the FHWA's Soil Nail Reference Manual and holds P.E. licenses across AR, GA, MD, NC, OH, and PA. Recently named chair of the DFI Educational Trust, she previously chaired the DFI-ADSC Micropile Committee, served as ASCE Geo-Institute past president, and earned ASCE Philadelphia's 2023 Geotechnical Engineer of the Year honor. GEI's advanced stabilization techniques for subsidence and coastal challenges directly bolster South Florida's infrastructure resilience amid booming coastal development.
