MIAMI.AI exists to produce high-quality, accurate, independent journalism about Miami. We believe the city deserves the same depth of coverage that global financial and cultural capitals receive, and we build the paper accordingly.

MIAMI.AI practices AI-accelerated journalism with humans in the loop.
In the tradition of The Economist, most articles carry the voice of the desk rather than a single byline. That voice is institutional — it represents the collective reporting and editorial judgment of the desk, not the opinion of any one individual. AI tools accelerate research, drafting, and translation between our English and Spanish editions. A human editor assigns, reviews, and signs off on every article before publication. A human is accountable for every word we publish.

MIAMI.AI is operated by Miami AI Group LLC, a Florida limited-liability company, and is wholly owned and funded by Spencer Benterud. There are no outside investors, no parent company, and no affiliated businesses whose interests could bias coverage. The owner does not direct, edit, or veto the work of the desks or of guest contributors — the desks operate with full editorial independence.
