Ryan Shear joined Property Markets Group in 2007 and has advanced to Managing Partner, directing a $10 billion development portfolio spanning condo towers, multifamily complexes, and mixed-use hospitality projects nationwide. He established PMG's Miami office in 2013, anchoring the firm's Southeast operations with landmark projects including the 100-story Waldorf Astoria Miami—a $668 million construction loan milestone completed in partnership with Hilton and Greybrook—and the E11EVEN Hotel & Residences. Beyond traditional luxury residential development, Shear pioneered the X Social Communities division to address millennial housing demands through tech-forward, community-centric apartment living, with properties like X Miami and X Las Olas operating across Florida's major markets. His emphasis on innovation and long-term neighborhood integration earned him ULI Southeast Florida's 2018 Young Leader of the Year award.
