Rene F. Ruiz has practiced as a labor and employment attorney in Miami since his admission to the Florida Bar in 2001 at age 23. He is a Shareholder at Stearns Weaver Miller in Coral Gables, where he helps private and public sector employers achieve labor relations and business goals, saving clients millions through negotiations. Deeply connected to Miami, he serves as General Counsel for artist Pitbull, negotiating deals like the naming rights for Pitbull Stadium at Florida International University and participating in Jeb Bush's 2017 bid for the Miami Marlins. Currently, he remains active on boards including the national SLAM! network of schools and the SLAM! Foundation, supporting campuses across Miami and beyond.
