About
Rebecca Danta is a Miami native who studied public relations at the University of Florida and began her career in retail management at Macy's Executive Development Program. She later moved to New York City to manage global campus operations for General Assembly, a leading education innovator with a successful 2018 exit. Returning to Miami, she joined Miami Angels in 2018 as Managing Director, leading the group to deploy over $18 million into 33 early-stage tech companies since 2014. Under her leadership, the network achieved its biggest year in 2018 and built a sustainable independent business model. Her career path reflects a 'jungle gym' progression from PR and operations into venture capital and small business leadership.
