As Dean and CEO of UHealth, Dr. Goldschmidt expanded healthcare access across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, and Collier counties, establishing over 25 outpatient clinics including the Lennar Foundation Medical Center and transforming University of Miami Hospital into a leading academic facility. This growth improved care quality in cardiology, orthopedics, and other specialties throughout South Florida, achieving one of the fastest revenue growth rates for U.S. academic medical centers. He also pioneered a public conflicts-of-interest database at the Miller School and supported global efforts like a 250-bed field hospital in Haiti via Project Medishare, benefiting South Florida's international community ties.

Dr. Pascal Goldschmidt is a Belgian-American cardiologist and cardiovascular researcher with a distinguished career spanning prestigious institutions including Johns Hopkins, Ohio State University, Duke University, and the University of Miami. He served as Chief of Cardiology at OSU and Duke, Chairman of Medicine at Duke, and in 2006 became Dean of the Leonard Miller School of Medicine and Founder/CEO of UHealth, the University of Miami Health System. Under his leadership, UHealth expanded to include three hospitals and major outpatient facilities across South Florida's coasts, tripling clinical revenues to over $120 million monthly by 2016. His deep Miami connection stems from nearly a decade shaping the Miller School and UHealth until 2016. Currently, he is Chief Medical Officer at Lennar Corporation, focusing on associate health, safety protocols, and healthcare navigation.
