About
Jorge Luis Garcia left Cuba as a child in the early 1980s and settled in Miami, where he worked grueling shifts in phlebotomy at Jackson Memorial Hospital while studying at Miami Dade College. He explored medical courses, changing majors multiple times before finding his path in medical diagnostics. Relocating to Orlando, he opened a small practice that expanded into 20 locations over 20 years, serving Spanish-speaking communities without formal business training. Deeply connected to Miami's Cuban exile community, symbolized by his time at Bayside Marina near the Freedom Tower, he remains a Miamian at heart. His career highlights include growing a successful diagnostics business from hospital night shifts to entrepreneurship. Currently, he enjoys the fruits of his labor, including ownership of the superyacht Legacy.
