As Chief of Cardiology and Deputy Director of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Dr. Fialkow has shaped cardiology services across South Florida's Baptist Health system. He serves as principal investigator of the Miami Heart Study, a seminal research initiative evaluating asymptomatic individuals to better understand atherosclerosis drivers through advanced biomarker analysis and imaging. His work in population health and data-driven care models has advanced access to cardiovascular services and improved patient outcomes across the region.

Dr. Jonathan Adam Fialkow is a board-certified cardiologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience specializing in preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, and complex cardiovascular disease management. He completed his medical degree at Boston University, followed by an internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and a cardiology fellowship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Since 1986, he has maintained an active practice in Miami while serving in multiple leadership roles at Baptist Health South Florida. He is a certified lipidologist through the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and has developed and led numerous specialized programs including lipid clinics and cardiometabolic centers.
