Born in St Andrews, Scotland, Jane Fraser graduated with an MA in economics from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She began her career at Goldman Sachs and Asesores Bursátiles before becoming a partner at McKinsey & Company, then joined Citigroup in 2004. From 2015 to 2019, she served as CEO of Citigroup Latin America while based in Miami, overseeing operations across the region. She advanced to President of Citigroup and CEO of Global Consumer Banking in 2019, becoming Chair and CEO of Citigroup in 2021 and 2025 respectively. Her Miami connection includes owning a waterfront home in Coral Gables until selling it in 2020. Currently, she leads the world's most global bank from a position shaped by her extensive consumer and institutional banking experience.
