About
Born Angela Kohn (also known as Angela Agape), Jacki-O grew up in Miami's tough Liberty City neighborhood, where poverty and violence inspired her to pursue music as an escape starting at age 12. She dropped out of high school but earned her GED while doing odd jobs and making mixtapes that gained traction in Miami clubs and radio. Her 2003 single 'Nookie' became an underground hit, leading to her 2004 debut album Poe Little Rich Girl on Poe Boy Entertainment and TVT Records, featuring tracks like 'Fine' with Ying Yang Twins. Deeply connected to Miami's hip-hop scene, she associated with 2 Live Crew and drew influences from the city's inner-city struggles. Now known as Angela Agape, she has transitioned to Christian rap and serves as a trusted community figure, once called the 'Madam of Miami' and now a 'Woman of God.' She runs her own label, Jack Movement Entertainment.
