Greg Olsen rose to prominence as a standout tight end for the University of Miami Hurricanes from 2004-2006, earning honorable mention All-ACC honors in 2005 with 31 receptions for 451 yards and four touchdowns. Selected in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, he built a 14-year professional career highlighted by three Pro Bowls with the Carolina Panthers, where he became the first tight end to record three straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons. His Miami connection stems from playing college ball for the Hurricanes after a brief stint at Notre Dame, contributing significantly to the program's legacy during his sophomore and junior years.
