Through Ten North Group, Dr. Logan has developed affordable housing and driven economic revitalization across South Florida, transforming underserved neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County like Opa-locka. His leadership has enhanced housing accessibility, fostered community empowerment, and promoted urban planning innovations. As an advocate via the Florida Housing Coalition and Miami Leadership Local, he influences policy and initiatives for equitable development in the region.

Born in 1957 in Miami Beach, Florida, Dr. Willie F. Logan began his career in public service as the youngest mayor in U.S. history at age 23, leading Opa-locka from 1980 to 1982. He served 18 years in the Florida House of Representatives (1982-2000), rising to House Democratic Leader-elect and Speaker-Designate, the first African American in that role. In 1980, he founded the Opa-locka Community Development Corporation (now Ten North Group), a Miami-based nonprofit turned multi-million-dollar organization focused on affordable housing and neighborhood transformation. Holding a Ph.D. in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University, an MBA, and a BS in Accounting from the University of Miami, he has been an adjunct faculty at UM's School of Architecture. Today, he leads Ten North Group in revitalizing South Florida communities through housing development and economic initiatives. He is a published author and international speaker on sustainable development.
