Radakovich has elevated Miami Athletics by enhancing recruiting, sports science, and resources for football under coach Mario Cristobal, leading to a College Football Playoff Championship Game appearance. He has driven facility upgrades and staff development, resulting in 13 programs earning postseason berths, 16 All-Americans, and six ACC individual champions. His leadership earned him AD of the Year recognition, boosting the Hurricanes' competitive standing in South Florida.
About
Dan Radakovich began his career at the University of Miami in 1983 as the Hurricanes’ athletic business manager, shortly before their first national football championship. He advanced through roles at multiple institutions, including senior positions at LSU, American University, Georgia Tech, and Clemson, where his tenure saw the Tigers win two national football titles. A University of Miami graduate school alumnus with an MBA from 1982, Radakovich returned to Coral Gables in December 2021 as the 15th Director of Athletics. In this role, he has hired eight new head coaches, extended seven others, and spearheaded facility expansions including the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility and new training centers for baseball, basketball, and rowing.
