Originally from Kansas City, Bradley Kilgore honed his skills at Michelin three-star restaurants Alinea and L2O in Chicago, and opened EPIC as Executive Sous Chef, named one of Esquire's Best New Restaurants of 2010. He moved to Miami in 2011, elevating Azul at Mandarin Oriental to Florida's first Forbes Five-Star rating and J&G Grill at St. Regis Bal Harbour to a rare four stars from the Miami Herald. In 2015, he launched his flagship Alter in Wynwood, earning national acclaim, Food & Wine Best New Chef, James Beard nomination, and Eater's Restaurant of the Year. Kilgore expanded with Brava by Brad Kilgore at Adrienne Arsht Center, Kaido and Ember in the Design District, and MaryGold’s brasserie. Post-COVID, he closed his original Miami group and shifted to hospitality consulting and culinary direction. He remains deeply connected to Miami, overseeing projects like Verge at The Concours Club and dining at The Raleigh Sales Pavilion.
