Born in Coral Gables as the son of L. Allen Morris, who founded the Allen Morris Company in 1958, W. Allen Morris took the helm in 1980 at age 28 and has since led the firm to over 85 successful developments. A graduate of Georgia Tech and Harvard Business School, he holds prestigious designations including CCIM, SIOR, CPM, CRE, and FRICS, with a career spanning more than 45 years in real estate development, brokerage, and property management. Morris is an author of 'All In: How to Risk Everything for Everything that Matters' (2022), a commercial-rated jet pilot, fourth-degree black belt Tae Kwon Do master, and certified scuba diver. He has received accolades like the 2016 Miami-Dade County Chairman of the Year Apogee Award, 2017 Power Leader in Real Estate, and 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Married to June Morris, he has four adult children, two stepdaughters, and three grandchildren. His leadership extends to numerous boards, including past roles with Young Presidents’ Organization, Miami Club, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
