Born Nick Leonardus van de Wall on September 9, 1987, in Spijkenisse, Netherlands, Afrojack began producing music at age 11 and started DJing at 14 in local pubs. He founded Wall Recordings in 2007, initially as a sub-label of Spinnin' Records, which later became independent and has nurtured artists across electronic genres. Afrojack broke internationally with 'Take Over Control' featuring Eva Simons in 2010, followed by massive hits like 'Titanium' with David Guetta and 'Give Me Everything' with Pitbull and Ne-Yo. His debut album Forget the World released in 2014, and he has earned Grammy Awards, topped DJ Mag charts peaking at 7, and collaborated with Beyoncé, Madonna, and Steve Aoki. Afrojack headlines major festivals worldwide, performs under aliases like NLW for underground sounds, and in 2021 delivered a historic Eurovision interval act.
