Who owns MIAMI.AI
MIAMI.AI is operated by Miami AI Group LLC, a Florida limited-liability company. The publication is wholly owned and funded by Spencer Benterud.
Principal owner
Spencer Benterud founded Miami AI Group LLC and is its sole principal and sole funder. There are no outside investors, no parent company, no passive financial backers, and no affiliated businesses whose interests could bias editorial coverage.
Funding
MIAMI.AI is privately funded by its owner. The publication's revenue will come from standard editorial-adjacent sources: advertising, reader-supported subscriptions, licensed content, and sponsored events. All advertising and sponsored content is clearly labeled as such and is separated from editorial, per our Ethics & Standards policy.
Editorial independence
The owner and funder of MIAMI.AI does not direct, edit, or veto the work of the desks or of guest contributors and syndicated publishers. The desks operate with full editorial independence and are responsible for their own assignment, reporting, and editing decisions. No advertiser, sponsor, or commercial partner has editorial review or veto over coverage. No coverage is promised in exchange for advertising. Where coverage of an advertiser is warranted — negatively or positively — that coverage proceeds on the same editorial merit as any other story.
