Through OKO Group and partnerships with Cain International, Doronin has developed major Miami projects including the 830 Brickell office tower (the first office skyscraper built in Brickell in over a decade), Una Residences on the Brickell Waterfront, and Aman Residences in the Faena District of Miami Beach. He also acquired the Edgewater House and The Ambassador Palm Beach Hotel & Residences in Palm Beach for $147 million in 2022. Doronin's $120 million sale of his Star Island estate in March 2025 set a new record for home sales in Miami-Dade County.

Vladislav Yurievich Doronin was born November 7, 1962, in the Soviet Union and renounced his Soviet citizenship in 1986, becoming a Swedish citizen. He is the owner and chairman of Aman Resorts, a Swiss-based luxury hotel group, and serves as chairman and CEO of OKO Group, a development firm he founded. Doronin is also co-founder of Moscow-based Capital Group. He established major real estate developments in Moscow before expanding into Miami, where he has become a prominent developer. He maintains residences in Switzerland, Miami, London, and other locations.
